Good tacos, gorditas, sweet bread !!! I love this place very convenient! The only issue is the staff can be less than friendly. I have had this experience a couple of times until I decided to be super friendly and everything changed now they are friendly everytime so the lesson is if YOU are friendly you will get better service period !

Tacos are great. They really stuff them. And can't go wrong with fresh pan dulce. My family has been coming here since I was a kid. Love it.

I was very fortunate to find this bakery while driving home from Deer Park. When I walked n - the place was colorful and spotless. The amazing smell of fresh bread - filled the air. The two women working behind the counter were wonderful. Everything looked so good and smelt so fresh - I ordered way too much. The ladies were very sweet and prepared my pan with expert care. My family was so excited and happy with the quality and freshness - we shall return!

My family has been coming here for over 10 years. I absolutely adore the place and so do my parents. My parents' morning tradition was always their cafécito con pan dulce. We'd always get the conchas, orejas, cochinito, churros, niños envueltos, and our favorites - the piña campechanas. My recommendation would be to try one of each of you're new to Mexican pan dulce so you can get an idea of what you prefer. As for their restaurant portion of their business, I have lived on their fajita gorditas for the past decade. When we eat at home we order the mini-gordita platter with rice and beans. So freaking good, their Mexican rice is the best rice of any casual taqueria or michoacana style place we've tried outside of Mexico. Their beef flautas are also very good. We always call in advance to place an order since they can take a while. They've messed up our order slightly maybe 3 times, but considering we've been coming here consistently for 10 years that's a pretty low mess up rate. We always found the employees to be super sweet and they all know my parents by name. They knew all about my college career when I moved to DC and they all know about my return to Houston. Yes, sometimes service was slow but this isn't a chain owned by a huge corporation and they do what they can to keep their prices cheap for us. I'll never forget when they ran out of niños envueltos for a while and we asked them about it - turned out the baker had died and they weren't able to hire someone that could replace his craft. That's how small and dedicated to specialization they are, and it shows the food is delicious! Give them a try, they're wonderful and one of the few places my Mexican immigrant family frequents when we're craving our type of bread and our type of food.
